Accessibility statement

PraxisWeb is committed to making this site accessible to everyone, in accordance with the European accessibility rules (European Accessibility Act, Directive EU 2019/882, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022) and with the EN 301 549 standard, which refers to the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.

This statement applies to the site praxisweb.it.

Conformance status

This site is fully conformant with the requirements set out above. No non-conformity has been found.

How conformance was assessed

The assessment is a self-evaluation carried out by PraxisWeb on 15 September 2026, with automated tools and manual checking.

The automated tools are Lighthouse and Pa11y, the latter with the axe-core and HTML_CodeSniffer libraries, run on the production version of the site. The Lighthouse accessibility score is 100 out of 100, both on mobile and on desktop. No violation was found. Thirty-one elements were referred to manual contrast checking: automated tools cannot compute the background colour when text sits on the decorative layers of the page, and in these cases they withhold judgement instead of reporting an error. All thirty-one were checked by hand and meet the requirements.

The manual checking covered full keyboard navigation, reading with a screen reader (VoiceOver), measuring contrast on screen, magnifying the page up to 200 per cent, reducing the window width down to 320 pixels and switching on the system preference for reduced motion.

Features of the site

  • Full keyboard navigation, with an always visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link as the first element of the page
  • Semantic page structure, with headings in hierarchical order and declared navigation areas
  • Colour contrast above the minimum requirements: 15.9:1 for body text and 8.0:1 for headings, links and icons in gold, against the 4.5:1 required at level AA. The lowest value in the site is 7.5:1, measured on the email contact button, and it exceeds the level AAA threshold as well
  • Text resizable up to 200 per cent and pages usable down to a width of 320 pixels, with no loss of content and no horizontal scrolling
  • No flashing content; animations switch off automatically, following the preferences of the operating system
  • Decorative images excluded from screen reader output
  • No tracking and no user profiling

The accessibility statement is one of the items PraxisWeb delivers to clients together with the site. This is the one for the PraxisWeb site: the same checks, the same criteria, the same commitment.
