Secure, accessible web development for businesses and professionals
PraxisWeb builds and renews websites for small businesses and professionals. Secure, accessible, compliant with European regulations.
Experience, security, continuity
Experience since 2003
3D graphics, company networks designed and secured, custom software development, then the web: skills built in the field, one project at a time, from 2003 to today.
Built-in security
Security reviews of software that handles sensitive data, and the configuration of company networks, have made security a working habit: it applies to every site, from the first day.
Long-standing collaborations
Professional relationships that last for years, renewed by trust rather than by a contract to sign.
Building and renewing secure, compliant websites
Every project begins with an assessment of the real complexity: what the site has to do today, how much it will have to grow, who will update it. The technologies are chosen afterwards, in proportion to that answer.
What comes out of it is a solid site, one that holds up over the years and ties you to no one: it stays yours in every part.
Every project includes
- Custom development, with no rigid templates and no needless dependencies
- Security hardening: encrypted connection, server protections, controlled access, backups
- EAA accessibility: compliance with the European rules in force since 2025 (WCAG 2.1 AA), with an accessibility statement ready to publish
- Performance: fast pages on any connection, which Google rewards
- Delivery with a manual: you know how your site works and what to do on your own

Frequently asked questions
How much does a website cost?
It depends on what is needed, and that is why PraxisWeb does not publish list prices. A showcase site of a few pages, a site with a blog and an archive, an online shop, a site that connects to other systems through APIs: these are jobs of different scope, and they cost accordingly. What is quoted is not the pages, but the work behind them: design, development and testing grow along with the complexity, and they are the part that determines both the cost and the timescales. Every quote sets out more than one option, with different costs and levels of service, from "I look after it myself" to "PraxisWeb takes care of everything". The quickest way to get an order of magnitude is to describe your case in a few lines: the reply arrives within one working day.
How long does it take?
A new site or a renewal takes weeks, not days: the structure and the content are agreed before any code is written, and the security and accessibility checks are part of the work. Every quote states a duration; if something changes along the way, you know straight away. PraxisWeb does not build sites "in a day".
How does the first contact work?
In writing, by email or WhatsApp. A few lines are enough: what your business does, what you need and, if you already have a site, its address. Within one working day you receive a first indication and, if you already have a site, a free preliminary check. Calls come afterwards, when they have an agenda and have been arranged in writing.
Does PraxisWeb also work in person?
PraxisWeb works remotely with clients throughout Italy and abroad, in Italian, English and Spanish. Meetings in person are arranged on request, with the travel expenses stated in the quote.
I already have a site: do I have to rebuild it from scratch?
Not necessarily. The free preliminary check says straight away whether the site has obvious problems; a full technical assessment, where it is needed, ranks the risks by severity and proposes two or three routes with timescales and costs. If the rebuild is then entrusted to PraxisWeb, the cost of the assessment is deducted from the quote. In the case of a restyling, the Google ranking already gained is preserved. Sometimes the answer is to wait: if the site still holds up and the right moment to change technology has not arrived, PraxisWeb tells you so, and also tells you which signs to keep an eye on.
Does the site stay mine?
Yes, in every one of its parts. The domain, the hosting and the accounts are registered in your name, and every job is delivered with a practical manual written for someone who is not technical, together with the source code and the technical documentation needed to carry on the development, the updates and the maintenance, on your own or entrusting them to whoever you prefer.
What is EAA accessibility, and does it concern me?
Since 28 June 2025 the European accessibility rules have applied to the digital services of many private businesses as well. For some activities it is an obligation; for all of them it is an advantage: an accessible site works better on every device, is easier to read and search engines reward it. Every site built by PraxisWeb complies with WCAG 2.1 level AA and is delivered with the accessibility statement ready for publication.
What happens after delivery?
Publication, secure handover of the credentials, a user manual and a session of side-by-side support. From there you decide: manage the site on your own, or entrust it to a maintenance service on a subscription, which can be stopped at any time. No binding contract: clients stay by choice.

Request a consultationWho is behind PraxisWeb
PraxisWeb is an independent studio, in digital since 2003: 3D graphics, company networks designed and secured, custom software development, then the web. From university studies in Computer Science and from reviewing complex software for its security comes the measure by which every choice in a project is made. Languages and technologies, server configuration, access and updates.
Praxis, in Greek, is action, that is, what remains of time once it has passed: this is why every job is made to last.
